Because only tools found there can be used to explain anything. That's one of the rules. You take in nothing and use only what you find there. If you brought something in, once they looked at it they would no longer be making the choice freely, because what you brought would be too powerful. They'd see it, and then they wouldn't have the option to make the wrong choice, too, and so they'd never develop the ability to learn what constitutes a wrong choice and what constitutes a right choice. Without that, it would all just be dazzling colors, and they'd never get to appreciate anything on the other side, so to cheat on this one would mean stealing from them the entire possibility for growth. Which is inconceivable, since it's how you got here. So don't try to use anything except what you find down there. I mean it.
