Chasing Oswald

Academic endorsement. Academic endorsement. Table of contents. Academic endorsement. Publisher's note. Woodcut. Cryptic witticism. All cultures and all civilizations are different from another, yet even the dumbest will admit that they all share certain patterns which very few have noticed before. Many people actually have noticed these patterns, famous people, but no one has noticed them quite right. Distinguished sources. Artisanal quotations. Casual reference to infrequently-cited historical event. Detailed description of ancient Pompei. Comparisons between Pompei and a nameless capital which is obviously New Londhattan. Of course, a certain scholar wasn't even aware of that symphony. Beautiful agony. Pointless idealism. This one time I went to Frankfurt on the Main. Lusty Faust raping stoic Apollo. My dinner in Paris with Andre. Frontier. Settlement. Hobbes. Aquinas. Oedipus. Settled agriculturalists Kryptonite Batmobile, or as Prometheus would have known it, Lucy's grandmother's friendly neighborhood dog chasing cars symbolic of the human condition. The struggle between peasants and un-peasants. Which derives from the Greek for as anyone knows. But in fact, is not the metropolis the same no matter where and when? Corn grinders and facsimile machines. In closing, we know nothing but the ceaseless finality of perpetual transmogrification. Works cited.

    1. Just Decline of the West. After Pleasureman suspended me for criticizing Black Swan, I got to thinking about how most of his prized intellectual references are to crypto androids, and as a corollary, how so much of the seeming online resistance right now mirrors the many superficially anti-Semitic yet stern cucktian messages used to stymie youth. Think Petrenko conducting Wagner.

(Not that Pman is necessarily anything more than a bitter drunk sniffing proudly at Taleb's and Spengler's crotches because he doesn't realize why they were popularized, but his sheer enthusiasm for the friendly friends colored my re-interpretation of Spengler.)

    1. By God man, that is at least two degrees more insightful than my stupid Silent Bob reference. Hats off to you, sir.
